Senior Research Associate - Base: Bratislava, Slovakia
Vlado is a conservation biologist from Bratislava, Slovakia. He graduated with a Master of Science degree from the Department of Environmental ecology at Comenius University in Bratislava. His main interest is the conservation and research of owls and raptors and their environment. Within the non-governmental organisation Raptor Protection of Slovakia he is a leader of the working groups for the Tawny Owl (Strix aluco) and Marsh Harrier (Circus aeruginosus). Currently, he is working on the project Common monitoring system of forest owls and on small projects, aimed on the ecology of the Tawny Owl. Within GLOW, he will be conducting research and conservation of owls at the local and regional level.
